L'objectif principal de la Gold-Passion est la "vivacité", avec une jouabilité et une réactivité améliorées grâce à l'inclusion d'un pan coupé biseauté unique et d'un ensemble de bois de qualité spécialement sélectionnés. Ce modèle bénéficie également des traitements habituels de la série Gold, tels que la table torréfiée Aged-to-Vintage, la jonction de manche à double verrouillage, le manche renforcé en noyer pour une stabilité maximale, la finition UV améliorant le son et le traitement du corps et des bords des frettes finis à la main.

A vintage instrument is the holy grail of acoustic guitar tone. The wood on the top cures and opens up more over time. This unleashes a tonal quality that is missing in new instruments until now. Using a special process we call ATV (Aged To Vintage), we treat the solid engelmann spruce top to give it that big and open tone of a decades-old, highly-sought-after acoustic. This torrefaction process delivers that amazing tone to you right out of the box.

The L.R.Baggs® Anthem pickup/preamp system delivers the pure acoustic vibrations of the instrument to the amplifier and PA without any coloration. Unneeded feedback can also be easily and effectively controlled through minimalistic controls that do not interfere with the look of the instrument.

Cort has developed comfortable dimensions in neck thickness from the headstock to the heel to increase comfort in your hands and optimize playability. To assure consistency, Cort uses state-of-the-art CNC machines to accurately mill each and every neck. Each neck is then carefully sanded and finished by skilled craftsmen who have a dedication and passion for building some of the best acoustic guitars in the world.

The sharp edges on the body, fretboard and frets are all hand- rolled to make them round, smooth and ultra- comfortable to touch and play. This process is highly complex and time-consuming and requires the skilled workmanship of experienced craftsmen.

The connection between a guitars neck and body is another key factor for great sound. On the Gold, we started with a tight fitting traditional dovetail neck joint. We then reinforced it by adding a bolt. This DoubleLock neck joint maximizes the transfer of tone and enhances resonance on the Gold.
Manche renforcé Noyer
The neck on the Gold has been reinforced for added rigidity and stability using two special inserts. This is constructed with two pieces of walnut installed to add stability while still retaining the natural properties of wood to further upgrade the Gold.

The Luminlay side dot position markers make it easy for players to see the fretboard position when performing on dark stages.
Finition UV améliorant le son
UV finish is about 30% thinner than standard finishes and this allows the wood to breathe and vibrate more freely. This process requires a shorter drying time and reduces chemical interaction between the finish and the woods, which is ideal for your instruments longevity. Due to the much shorter drying time and the lack of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in the UV finish material, it is also an environmentally friendly process. This high-tech finish is strong enough to be resistant to scratches but lightweight enough to improve the natural acoustic resonance of the body for a full, rich tone.
